Glen Scotia Icons of Campbeltown Release No. 2 Single Malt Scotch Whisky "The Dragon" is the 2nd of 5 limited edition releases in the "Icons of Campbeltown" whisky series. The 5 releases pay homage to the history of Campbeltown and the mythical tales of "saints and beasts."
This "The Dragon" release tells the story of Saint Michael slaying a fire-breathing dragon with his sword, and the esteemed artist, Joel Holzman (Lucasfilm, Marvel, and Disney) designed the motifs.
Glen Scotia Icons of Campbeltown Release No. 2 Single Malt Scotch Whisky "The Dragon" is a 14-year-old lightly peated whisky that has undergone a 6-month finishing period in used Barolo red wine casks. The whisky is non-chill filtered, naturally coloured, and bottled at cask strength of 56.8%. The taste offers notes of delicate peat smoke, spices, red fruits, and berries. 56.8% - 70 cl.

Glen Scotia
Glen Scotia is one of only 3 remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region from when Campbeltown was almost considered the capital of whisky. The Glen Scotia whisky distillery dates back to 1832, and under the experienced Master Distiller John Peterson's expertise, both peated and unpeated whisky is produced. In the Glen Scotia whisky range, you will find, among others, the Double Cask and Victoriana editions, which are currently carried in our assortment.
