Gilles Brisson Pineau de Charentes is a pleasantly sweet dessert wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with desserts such as cake, ice cream, etc. In fact, in France, this delicious bottle is also often enjoyed after dinner. Gilles Brisson is best known for their cognac, so it was a natural step for them to develop their own Pineau de Charentes, which is made by blending grape must with young cognac. At the time of writing, we just had a French tasting in the shop where this Gilles Brisson Pineau de Charentes was the dessert, and the guests loved the experience so much that we absolutely had to add it to our selection.
