Diplomatico Ambassador Rum
Diplomatico Ambassador Selection rum is distilled in 100% copper pot stills and after 12 years of aging in white oak barrels, it is aged for an additional 2 years in Pedro Ximenez casks. Tasting notes: a wonderfully sharp nose, where the subtle aromas of dried fruit are combined with rich aromas of vanilla, spices, and sugarcane syrup, with a hint of smoke in the background. On the palate, the aromatic notes continue, transitioning into a strong, complex blend of dark chocolate, aged dried fruit, coffee, and vanilla; all with a lovely creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long, warm, and powerful. Diplomatico Ambassador Selection rum won the 2012 Rum Expert Gold and also receives the warmest recommendation from Rombo.
