Cortez White Rum

Ron Cortez Blanco is named after the Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortez. Cortez was the first to understand the strategic importance of Panama's land bridge in creating a connection between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Cortez communicated this to King Carlos V of Spain in 1524, but the connection was not established until almost 400 years later with the construction of the Panama Canal. Since the canal was built, Panama has been a hub for transport, trade, and all kinds of races and cultures. Ron Cortez Blanco is a clear rum that is fruity, soft, and light. The rum has been aged for 18 months in ex-bourbon barrels, and its light, delicate, and fruity character makes it ideal in a mojito cocktail. 40% – 70 cl.
