Chateauneuf Du Pape 2023 Tradition Rouge
The Chateauneuf Du Pape Tradition Rouge red wine from Domaine de la Solitude is a wonderful flavor explosion that can be enjoyed immediately, or it can be aged for up to a dozen years.
The red wine is made from the following mix of grapes: 60% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, 5% Counoise and 5% Cinsault. As is customary for a Chateauneuf Du Pape, this Tradition Rouge is also characterized by spicy notes. You will also find notes of, among other things, ripe berries and licorice.
The historic Domaine de la Solitude winery - still run by Famille Lancon - has been producing beautiful Chateauneuf du Pape wines, Cotes du Rhone wines, etc. for several hundred years.
