Compagnie Des Indes Great Whites Vietnam Overproof rum is one of the first rums in Compagnie Des Indes' new series of extraordinary white rums from around the world. All rums in the series are selected for their particularly powerful character and are bottled as 'overproof' with an ABV of 50%. Compagnie Des Indes Great Whites Vietnam Overproof rum is made from fresh sugarcane juice and distilled in a copper column still at Quang Nam Distillery in March 2021. The rum has spicy aromas of hummus, sandalwood, truffle, fresh sugarcane, and incense. It has flavour notes of pear, wood, caramel, and white tea. It should be enjoyed neat and then in a Mai Tai or a Daiquiri. Limited release of 1000 bottles. 50% - 70 cl.

Compagnie des Indes is an independent rum bottler. Florent Beuchet is the likeable Frenchman behind these rum bottlings, which focus on a number of renowned distilleries such as Foursquare (Barbados), Uitvlugt/DDL (Guyana), Worthy Park (Jamaica), and Caroni from Trinidad (now closed). Florent Beucher is true to the concept of authentic rum, so Compagnie des Indes is, with few exceptions, produced without added sugar.
