Compagnie Des Indes Clarendon Jamaica DJC1 DK edt. 2022 rum is an 11-year-old single cask bottling from the amiable Frenchman Florent Beuchet, who is behind the independent rum bottler Compagnie des Indes (CDI). The rum comes from the Clarendon Distillery in Jamaica, and with this bottling, you get full Jamaican value and high alcohol content for your money. Compagnie Des Indes Clarendon Jamaica DJC1 DK edt. 2022 is a funky rum with notes of slightly overripe bananas and pineapple. Its slightly overripe aromatic notes are complemented by plenty of power on the palate – ripe tropical fruit, vanilla, and many creamy notes from the fresh bourbon cask. At the same time, the alcohol is strong but very well integrated into the rum, so it does not appear boozy. Compagnie Des Indes Clarendon Jamaica DJC1 DK edt. 2022 is bottled at cask strength and completely without added sugar or coloring. Limited edition of 276 numbered bottles. Should be enjoyed neat. 63.2% - 70 cl.

Compagnie des Indes is an independent rum bottler. Florent Beuchet is the likeable Frenchman behind these rum bottlings, which focus on a number of renowned distilleries such as Foursquare (Barbados), Uitvlugt/DDL (Guyana), Worthy Park (Jamaica), and Caroni from Trinidad (now closed). Florent Beucher is true to the concept of authentic rum, so Compagnie des Indes is, with few exceptions, produced without added sugar.
