Canaïma Gin

Canaïma Gin "Born In The Amazon" is a small batch gin, distilled by DUSA distillery in Venezuela, which is the same distillery that also produces the popular Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum. Canaïma Gin is produced in collaboration with local communities and indigenous tribes in the Amazon jungle, who have selected the gin's exotic herbs and fruits based on their knowledge and traditions, including Merey (the fruit from which we get cashews), Açai (acai berries), Uva de palma, El Túpiro, Seje, and Copoazú. In total, 10 exotic and 8 traditional botanicals, as well as a local fruit, have been used for the gin. Canaïma Gin "Born In The Amazon" has first been individually macerated and distilled in their 500-liter copper pot still and then blended by their Master Distiller. Good body, fruity (grapefruit and passion fruit) with floral notes and lush greenery. A long finish with a hint of black pepper. 47% - 70cl.
