Brugal 1888 Rum

Brugal 1888 rum is aged in American white oak barrels and Spanish oak barrels previously used for sherry. The rum is known for its distinct dry flavor profile combined with a balanced palette of taste nuances. It is good to enjoy neat, on the rocks, or as an ingredient in various cocktails.

Color: dark amber. The aroma is complex with spicy notes, hints of chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and a touch of cinnamon and dried fruit. The rum has a pleasant and smooth taste that is vibrant with a full body and a remarkable finish of caramel, wood, and licorice.

Brugal 1888 Rum won gold in the "Premium Aged Rum" category at the Miami Rum Festival 2015.

Brugal

Edrington-owned Brugal from the Dominican Republic is one of the world's largest rum producers. Brugal Rum generally has strong oak notes from barrel aging. This is true for Brugal 1888 and especially Brugal Siglo de Oro, which is currently the distillery's finest rum. However, this will only be the case until the launch of Brugal Papa Andrés in October 2013, in a very limited edition of 500 bottles for the whole world.
