Beaujolais-Villages from Maison Piron – The taste of classic Beaujolais. Made from grapes from vines over 50 years old. The grapes are handled carefully, with some destemmed before fermentation using the "semi-carbonique" method. This gives the wine a wonderful balance between structure and juicy fruit with notes of blackcurrant and strawberry. Behind the fresh fruit, you'll find plenty of depth, with a touch of minerality and a hint of white pepper, giving the wine character and complexity.

The supple tannins slowly build at the long finish, neatly underlining the abundant fruit. Moderate acidity. From several villages, but the cuvee is based on wines from Lantignie."
