Barbancourt Rhum Réserve du Domaine was originally reserved for the Barbancourt family and its friends but was offered for public sale for the first time in the mid-1960s. Today, Réserve du Domaine has become a veritable institution among the world's rum connoisseurs. It first arrived in Europe in 2009. Nose: The nose is perfumed and complex with candied citrus fruits and a toasted, tannin-rich taste. Taste: Powerful with great aromatic richness. Almost explosive with cooked pear, citrus fruits, cinnamon, and pepper. Finish: Long with a hint of citrus fruits and spices. Barbancourt Rhum Réserve du Domaine 15-year-old rum won a bronze medal at the International Rum Expert Panel 2010. A rum that Haiti can be proud of. 43% - 70 cl.

Rhum Barbancourt is quality rum from Haiti based on pure sugar cane juice. Haiti is not as well-known for rum as its neighbours from the Dominican Republic, who have countless high-quality rum brands. Barbancourt, however, is an exception, and it tastes a lot better than the labels suggest! The Barbancourt Rhum Reserve du Domaine 15-year-old rum is unfortunately a bit difficult to get hold of and can therefore often be out of stock.
