Bagsværd Lakrids Classic Mini is handmade Danish liquorice with soul. Experience the genuine, characteristic taste of Danish liquorice, where tradition meets perfection. The liquorice is made from the finest liquorice powder and undergoes a carefully controlled Maillard reaction. A chemical process where milk protein and sugar melt together in the pot, creating the unique, deep flavour that only true liquorice lovers know.
After cooking, the liquid liquorice is poured into molds where it slowly hardens overnight. The next day, it is hand-cut with a robust knife, ensuring each piece retains its perfect consistency. Handmade with pride in Bagsværd – and award-winning for its exceptional quality. Store in a dry place and out of direct sunlight. Limit intake if you suffer from high blood pressure.
