Arran Amarone Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an Island single malt whisky produced with the purest spring water from Loch Na Davie. The lake gets its naturally filtered rainwater from the highlands above the distillery, and the pure water contributes to giving the whisky its natural, complex flavour profile. Arran Amarone Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky has first matured in traditional oak casks for a number of years, after which it has been finished in Amarone casks. The result is a successful meeting between Italian wine and Scottish character with aromas of cherry, chocolate, and Turkish delight. The whisky has tasting notes of boiled pear, honey, and a hint of cranberry, leading to an aftertaste of sweetness, pears, Turkish delight, dark chocolate, and cherries.
