Annandale Man O' Sword Ex-Oloroso Sherry Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from Annandale Distillery, which was founded in 1836 by George Donald by the River Annan in northern Dumfriesshire, Scotland. Unfortunately, Annandale closed in 1918, but in 2014 the distillery was "reborn" with new owners who have taken the whisky in an exciting new direction. The whisky profile from Annandale is different, exclusive, and intense, as all whiskies from Annandale are non-chill filtered Single Cask editions bottled at cask strength.
This robust and complex whisky with high smoke intensity matures in a 500-liter ex-Oloroso Sherry Butt of European oak to create a deep, peated, and powerful flavour.
Annandale Man O' Words Ex-Fino Sherry Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured in cask #1086 with a rich, smoky, and complex flavour profile. 60.8% - 70 cl.
