A.H. Riise Pharmacy 1838 Bitter was created to honour the history of A.H. Riise Apothecary Hall, which was founded on St. Thomas in 1838. Bitters were then a natural part of general medicine and the products were developed by the old apothecaries to protect against stomach ache, headache and indigestion. A.H. Riise Pharmacy 1838 Bitter contains botanical extracts, spices and herbs, which give a refined aroma and taste. These include galangal root, ginger, bitter orange, curacao peel and cardamom. A.H. Riise Pharmacy 1838 Bitter is wonderful as a morning bitter or after an outdoor activity. 40% - 70 cl.

Riise to Old St. Croix. Previously, the products could be classified as rum, but as of May 25, 2021, new EU legislation came into effect, stating that rum must not contain more than 20 grams of sweetening product per liter.
