Old St. Croix Tasting on September 25th
On Friday, September 25th, we will have a special visit from Louis Hansen from the importer Mac Y, who will be in the store to host a tasting of the popular Old St. Croix series (formerly known as "A.H. Riise"). Louis will tell us the story of the producer, and we will taste 9 different bottlings. Here is the tasting program:

Please note: no tickets will be sent, but your name will be added to a guest list, and you do not need to bring a receipt. Tickets cannot be ordered with items that need to be shipped. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.

Old St. Croix
Old St. Croix (formerly known as A.H. Riise) produces a wide range of extra sweet sugarcane spirits as well as liqueurs, bitters, and licorice shots. As of June 13, 2025, the name has been changed from A.H. Riise to Old St. Croix. Previously, the products could be classified as rum, but as of May 25, 2021, new EU legislation came into force, stating that rum must not contain more than 20 grams of product for sweetening per liter.
