Rum from El Salvador primarily comes from Licorera Cihuatán S.A. de C.V. El Salvador rum is column-distilled rum in the Spanish rum style, where the products are often a little sweeter and easier to enjoy. Licorera Cihuatán is located in the Cihuatán Valley, and at the time of writing, we carry 2 brands from the distillery: Cihuatán and Ron Colón. El Salvador is characterized by the ancient Mayan culture, and this is also reflected on some of the highly decorative bottles of rum from El Salvador.
