Ron Cueva rum comes from Panama, which is usually known for sweet/medium-sweet rum. The Ron Cueva rum series includes, among others, the Sistema 12 Solera, Sistema 18 Solera, and Sistema 25 Solera editions. The name Ron Cueva 1501 refers to the Cueva tribe, which was discovered in Panama in 1501 by Spanish conquerors. Unfortunately, the Cueva tribe died out as early as 1535 due to their struggle against the Spaniards and the diseases brought from Europe. In addition to honoring the past, Ron Cueva 1501 also helps improve the quality of life of indigenous tribes through various projects that benefit the tribes.
