Laphroaig 10 Year Old Sherry Oak Finish Single Malt Whisky is made from malted barley that has been dried over a peat fire. The peat comes from Islay, and it is this particular peat that gives Laphroaig its distinctive, well-known flavour. At the same time, the distillery is close to the sea, and the sea salt also contributes to the whisky's character. Laphroaig 10 Year Old Sherry Oak Finish Single Malt Whisky is first matured in American oak casks, and finally, it undergoes an extra maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. The combination of cask types produces notes of honey, bacon, maple syrup, and of course, the classic peat smoke, seaweed, and sea salt that are so well-known from Laphroaig. 48% - 70 cl.
