Valdespino Vermouth Origin
Valdespino Vermouth Origin is a beautiful, soft, and round Vermouth, resulting from a long-standing collaboration between the Valdespino sherry producer in Jerez, Spain, and The Macallan whisky producer in Scotland. The Macallan extensively uses Valdespino's used sherry casks for aging their whisky.
When it comes to Valdespino Vermouth Origin, it's the other way around, as this vermouth is aged in used The Macallan whisky casks. As is customary with vermouth, the "wine" has been infused with various herbs, fruits, and spices, and to create a citrus note, a touch of Moscatel sherry has also been added.
