Tranquebar Colonial Gin
Tranquebar Colonial Gin is a classic Colonial dry gin at 45%. Tranquebar Gin began in late 1615, when the two Dutch merchants Jan de Willum and Herman Rosenkrantz, both residents of Denmark, contacted King Christian IV of Denmark and Norway with a proposal to establish a trading company focused on trade with the Far East, particularly India, from where they obtained botanicals that could be used in gin. Tranquebar Colonial Gin is made according to Jan de Willum's old family recipe and is crafted with extracts and essential oils from juniper, orange, lemon and coriander seeds, cinnamon, coriander, fennel, cardamom, nutmeg, bitter orange, and barley malt with subtle hints of tea. Enjoy it with a dry tonic. 45% – 70 cl.
