The Balvenie 21-year PortWood Single Malt Scotch Whisky was launched in 1996 and has won numerous awards and gold medals – most recently at the International Spirits Challenge in 2020, where it won gold in the Distillers’ Single Malts 21 years and over category. The Balvenie 21-year PortWood Single Malt Scotch Whisky has lightly smoky, perfumed, fruity notes of peach, raisins, and nuts on the nose, and fruity flavor notes with a hint of honey and spice, culminating in a long, nutty finish with a touch of bitter cocoa. 40% - 70 cl.

Balvenie
The Balvenie whisky distillery, located in Dufftown in the Speyside region, is a neighbour to Glenfiddich and dates back to the 1890s. The distillery still carries out its own malting, where the germinating barley is turned by hand. Balvenie single malt whisky is primarily matured in American bourbon casks, while certain variants are finished in European oak sherry casks. The whisky is often characterised as full-bodied with notes of honey.
