The Arran Machrie Moor 10-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, like the rest of the Machrie Moor series, is named after a mysterious peat bog on Arran's west coast, where stone monuments from the Bronze Age still stand. According to legend, the giant Fingal once tied his favourite dog Bram to one of the stones – hence the motif of the dog on Machrie Moor's bottles. Machrie Moor 10-year-old whisky is produced at Lochranza Distillery and, after distillation, has matured for 10 years in first-fill bourbon casks. The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration or added colour. With Machrie Moor 10-year-old Single Malt, Arran has given its fresh signature style a shot of smoke with a hint of earthy notes. The whisky has plenty of spicy flavour notes, complemented by sweet smoke. Limited edition. 46% - 70 cl.

Arran
The Isle of Arran whisky distillery is a relatively new distillery, established in 1995, and it is located – as the name suggests – on the Isle of Arran, a very scenic area southwest of Glasgow. The Arran single malt whisky is primarily matured in ex-bourbon casks made of American white oak and sherry casks made of European oak.
