South Star Speyside 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

South Star Speyside 10-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from 10 selected Hogshead casks, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2021 as only 2148 bottles.

With around 50 distilleries, accounting for over a third of Scotland's total, Speyside covers a stretch of about 80 kilometers between Inverness and Aberdeen along the River Spey.

For this reason, most distilleries have their own water source, something they are immensely proud of. The honeyed and fruity character of Speyside whiskies makes them highly sought after, and along the banks of the River Spey lie many of the country's most famous distilleries.

This 10-year-old whisky, originating from a undisclosed distillery, has a fruity and floral aroma with notes of lemon. There are flavour notes of caramel with a hint of salt, and it all finishes with the taste of baked apples and pears with cinnamon.

South Star Speyside 10-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is released by the independent whisky bottler South Star Spirits, who, in addition to this selected Highland whisky, has also released small batch whiskies from the Speyside and Islay regions.

The people behind South Star Spirits also plan to open a new distillery, Dál Riata, in the heart of Campbelltown. In the future, the distillery will produce single malts in line with the traditions of the Scottish west coast. 48% - 70 cl.
