SBS Venezuela 2016 Bourbon and Oloroso Cask is a single cask rum, originally made exclusively for the Swedish market, but we managed to get hold of a very few bottles that were found in the producer's (1423 ApS) warehouse.
The rum is made from molasses and column distilled in Venezuela. The 8 years of aging took place in ex-bourbon casks and moscatel casks, respectively. The cask was selected by "Lee Sernehov" in Sweden.
Only 423 bottles in total. Non-chill filtered. 50% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
