SBS Guyana 1990 Rum Uitvlugt (PM) rum is a Single Barrel Selection (SBS) distilled on the famous Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still, which is also the world's oldest wooden pot still. The Port Mourant pot still was located at the Uitvlugt Distillery when the rum was distilled, which is why Uitvlugt is stated on the bottle label. Uitvlugt closed down in 2000 and was moved to Diamond Distillery (DDL). The total of only 192 bottles of SBS Guyana 1990 Rum Uitvlugt (PM) rum were finished by the Danish importer 1423 ApS and bottled in February 2021 at 53.1% cask strength. SBS Guyana 1990 Rum Uitvlugt (PM) rum has an aroma of, among other things, anise, white pepper, wood, and vanilla, while the taste is powerful and dry with notes of, among other things, toffee, salt, and liquorice. 53.1% Cask Strength - Non Chill Filtered - no additives. 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
