Savanna 10-year-old rum Cuvee Maison Blanche Edition Grand Millesime 2008 is from the highly renowned Savanna distillery, located on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. Here, a wide range of rums are produced: light rum types suitable for cocktails, Rhum Traditionnel for pure enjoyment, Grand Arome with extra aroma/ester content/flavour, and they also produce certain Rhum Agricole products, which are made from sugarcane juice instead of molasses (which the others are). Savanna does not add sugar to their products, making them unsweetened natural rums. Aging typically takes place in French oak barrels from Limousin or Allier. This Savanna 10-year-old rum is a so-called Cuvee Maison Blanche, meaning molasses-based rum aged for a minimum of 10 years in French oak barrels. This is a special edition "Edition Grand Millesime 2008", which means the rum was distilled in 2008. Savanna 10-year-old Cuvee Maison Blanche is a rum with notes of fruit compote and vanilla, among others. 43% - 70 cl.
