Rum Nation Rare Rums Savanna 16-year-old Sherry Finish rum is a rum that, after a long fermentation, was distilled at the Savanna Distillery in 2006. The rum has since matured for 12 years in a tropical climate in former cognac casks, followed by 3.5 years in a continental climate in Oloroso sherry casks. The rum was bottled in 2022 from the carefully selected casks 816 and 817. Rum Nation Rare Rums Savanna 16-year-old Sherry Finish rum is an ester-rich, aromatic rum with scent notes of bergamot, orange peel, cloves, coffee, cola, and herbs. The taste is a balance of tannins and sweet notes of cocoa and burnt sugar with a hint of vermouth. Very dark and spicy aftertaste. Limited release of only 1278 numbered bottles. 57.65% - 70 cl.

Rum Nation was founded by Italian Fabio Rossi, who released his first rum in 1999, and Rum Nation is a so-called "independent bottler," as is also the case with, for example, Planteray (formerly Plantation).
