Rum Nation Rare Rums Enmore 25-year-old rum is an extremely aromatic rum, distilled in a wooden column still. Despite its muscular and powerful character, it has a softness from its many years in wooden casks.
The first thing that hits the nose is an explosion of 'funky esters': overripe fruits such as banana, papaya, and avocado, along with a 'teasing' note of wood glue. Later, cola, bergamot, pepper, cinnamon, and other spices follow, as well as a hint of wood. On the palate, you find the same fruity and spicy notes as in the aroma. The rum is long, juicy, and sweet with an almost overwhelming taste of esters, yet it is round and creamy.

Rum Nation was founded by Italian Fabio Rossi, who released his first rum in 1999, and Rum Nation is a so-called "independent bottler," as is also the case with, for example, Planteray (formerly Plantation). Rossi sought out finished rum distillates with different geographical characteristics from the Caribbean, Central and South America, which he blended and bottled in Italy.
