Patridom (formerly known as "Ron Esclavo") Gran Reserva is made from fresh sugarcane juice, which matures in the tropical climate of the Dominican Republic. Aged for a period of four to six years, both in American oak and French oak barrels, before being blended and sweetened with cane sugar.

Patridom is a tribute to the history of the Dominican Republic, sugarcane, rum, and sugarcane spirits. The series consists of delicate premium blends from the Dominican Republic, all tropically matured.

Aroma: juicy apricots with a lightly tart note, transforming into brown sugar, milk chocolate, and maple syrup. Taste: pleasant sweetness with hints of fresh vanilla. A light body with subtle aromas of coffee and dark chocolate, adding depth and complexity.

This edition comes in a so-called Bag-in-Tube®, which is a clever packaging concept. First the cardboard tube and inside, a double-layered bag. The rum is dispensed from a highly efficient Vitop® tap. (similar to what you know from bag-in-box wine, but of top quality) Once opened, the Bag-in-Tube® protects the rum from oxygen and thus provides extended shelf life.
