Planteray XO 20th Anniversary PX Cask Finish rum is a follow-up to the classic and very popular "Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum". Since then, Plantation has changed its name to Planteray, and importantly, this new Planteray XO 20th Anniversary has received an additional maturation in used Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry casks from Andalusia in Spain.

The rum in the Planteray XO 20th Anniversary PX Cask Finish edition is from the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, where it has been fermented, distilled, and initially matured in ex-bourbon casks. The rum is then brought to France for further maturation in used Ferrand cognac casks and finally in PX sherry casks.

Notes of vanilla, coconut, and tropical fruits from the original Plantation XO are also found in this Planteray XO PX Cask Finish rum. Additionally, the PX sherry cask contributes notes of nuts and raisins.
