Plantation Original Dark Double Aged Rum
Plantation Original Dark Double Aged is a blend of rums from Barbados, 1 to 3 years old - made on twin Column & Pot Still, and rum from Jamaica, 10 to 15 years old - made on Pot Still (John Dore). After blending, the rum is finished maturing in France for 3 to 6 months in young bourbon casks. Nose: peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, cherry, prune. Taste: Initially fruity with white raisins, dried pineapple, and slightly dry. Later, a spicy, piquant, mineral, and significantly drier aftertaste emerges, finishing with more spice.
Note: the bottle was previously called Plantation Original Dark, but the name has now been changed to Planteray.
