Plantation XO 20th Anniversary has a dark mahogany color with an amber-gold hue. Aroma: Vanilla, dried fruits, coconut, and baked bananas are the very first caressing notes to hit the nose. Dark, sweet toffee, milk chocolate, and oriental spices attest to many years of silent maturation in dark cellars. Finally, a hint of burnt oak and tea leaves can be perceived. Taste: A great sweetness fills the entire mouth. Lots of vanilla, apricot, and raisin are among the first delights tasted. Then comes a delicious dark and spicy taste of cinnamon, Demerara cane sugar, and cocoa. Plantation 20th Anniversary has notes of sweet smoldering oak, whiskey mélange, pipe tobacco, and Crème Brulée, concluding a fantastic grand rum experience. The aftertaste is incredibly soft and enchants the senses for several minutes.
