Planteray (formerly called Plantation) XO 20th Anniversary rum has a dark mahogany color with an amber-gold hue.

Aroma: Vanilla, dried fruits, coconut, and baked bananas are the very first alluring notes to hit the nose. Dark, sweet toffee, milk chocolate, and oriental spices attest to many years of quiet aging in dark cellars. Finally, a hint of burnt barrel and tea leaves can be perceived.

Taste: A great sweetness fills the entire mouth. Lots of vanilla, apricot, and raisin are among the first delights tasted. This is followed by a delicious dark and spicy taste of cinnamon, Demerara cane sugar, and cocoa. Planteray 20th Anniversary has notes of sweet smouldering oak, whisky mélange, pipe tobacco, and Crème Brulée, concluding a fantastic grand rum experience. The aftertaste is incredibly smooth and enchants the senses for several minutes.
