Oliver's Exquisito Soleras 1990 Ron de Santo Domingo is an excellent representative of the Spanish/Cuban rum style. This is a molasses-based and column-distilled rum from the Dominican Republic, aged and blended by Oliver & Oliver. The base for this rum is a 1990 distillate, which is blended with a mother rum that has an average age of 15-25 years. This blend is then aged using the solera method. Oliver's Exquisito 1990 opens with a light scent of tobacco, followed by sweet vanilla and plenty of citrus fruit. A very well-balanced taste of caramelized apple, roasted nuts, oak, and subtle hints of mocha. Oliver's Exquisito Soleras 1990 Ron de Santo Domingo won double gold in the Super Premium category (over 21 years of aging) at the Rum Congress in Madrid in 2013. 40% – 70cl.

Oliver's Exquisito rum series comes from the Dominican rum producer Oliver & Oliver, who is also behind well-known brands such as Ron Quorhum, Opthimus, Puntacana, Presidente, and others. Among the Exquisito Vintage editions, we find Exquisito 1985, 1990, and 1995. Exquisito 1990 won gold at the Madrid Rum festival.
