Old Monk 12-year-old Gold Reserve Rum has a deep, coppery-golden color and aromas of molasses, tobacco, brown sugar, and vanilla, followed by black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, and walnuts. On the palate, there are notes of molasses, tobacco, chocolate, and black tea, as well as warm spices such as cinnamon, black pepper, and cloves. The finish is slightly dry with a hint of nuts, tobacco, and licorice. Old Monk 12-year-old Gold Reserve Rum can be enjoyed neat or mixed in a cocktail. 42.8% – 70cl.

Old Monk Rum is a rarity as rum from India. Or rather: quite a lot of Indian rum is produced, but not much of it is exported and reaches the shelves in Europe. The Old Monk rum series includes the 7-year-old and the 12-year-old Old Monk Rum.
