Rumdeluxe Le Galion Martinique New Make Rum Batch 2
Le Galion Martinique from Danish Romdeluxe is a "new make" white rum, which is unaged, molasses-based, and column distilled. The small distillery Le Galion on the French island of Martinique is probably relatively unknown to most, and by using molasses and column distillation, they have chosen to go in a different direction than most rum / Rhum Agricole, as it is known from Martinique. This bottle is batch 2.
However, this Le Galion from Rom de Luxe also has fresh green notes and a scent of freshly harvested hay. Only 80 bottles of this Le Galion "Rhum Grand Arome" have been produced, coming in small 50 cl stoneware bottles, and it packs a punch with 59.1% ABV.
