Infernal Personal Selection IPS Trinidad Rum
Infernal Personal Selection IPS Trinidad is a rum personally selected and designed by Paw Lagermann and Lina Rafn from the music group, Infernal. Paw and Lina's interest in rum has grown so much over the years that in 2018 they began creating their rum series, and in fact, many of the first editions were sold exclusively through Rombo.
This IPS 3 was column-distilled at Trinidad Distillers Limited (TDL) in 2016, and the rum was tropically aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being sent to Europe, where it underwent an additional four years of aging in Virgin Oak and Spanish Moscatel casks. The result is an intense and elegant rum with great depth, spicy nuances, and a fruity sweetness.
When you smell Infernal Personal Selection IPS Trinidad 52% rum, you'll notice aromas of vanilla, brown sugar, dried fruit, raisins, orange peel, and spicy oak. The taste offers notes of rich caramel, honey, ripe grapes, apricot, warm spices, and lightly toasted notes from the Virgin Oak casks. The finish is long and warm with dried fruit, spicy oak, and a lingering, vinous sweetness.
