Don Guido 20 Year PX Sherry is from a sherry house founded in 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams, a great admirer and connoisseur of sherry, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international relations. In the 1960s, José, Nicolás, Jesús, and Angel, members of the Medina family who worked at other sherry houses in Jerez, decided to start their own sherry house: José Medina y Compañia. The most recent acquisition was Williams & Humbert, which now lends its name to all of the Medina company's activities. The house has won great acclaim for its sherry, brandy, and rum. Don Guido 20 Year PX Sherry is produced in the classic Jerez style, which gives the sherry great balance and depth. Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry is synonymous with an extremely sweet sherry made exclusively from Pedro Ximenez grapes. The grapes are sun-dried for 15 days, after which they are pressed. Don Guido 20 Year PX Sherry is very easy-drinking and soft with incredible richness. It is recommended that the sherry be served at room temperature or slightly chilled, and it is ideal as a dessert wine, or to be poured over a dessert with vanilla ice cream. 18% - 50cl.
