Cú Bócan is a single malt Scotch whisky from Tomatin Distillery in the Highland region, and this edition is a "light smoke" whisky, matured in 3 types of casks: bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry butts, and North American Virgin Oak casks. In addition to light smoke and peat, Cu Bocan whisky also has notes of citrus and exotic spices, among others. Tomatin was named Icons of Whisky Scotland 2016 "Distiller of the Year". 46% ABV - 70 cl.

Tomatin
Tomatin whisky distillery was founded in 1897 and is located just south of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. The Tomatin Highland series includes 12 and 18-year-old single malt whisky core expressions, as well as the smokier Cu Bocan. Tomatin also regularly releases whiskies that have been aged in casks other than the usual bourbon barrels.
