Cristobal Niña 8-12 Years er en sød spirit drink fra Den Dominikanske Republik, og den er skabt af nøje udvalgte melassebaserede destillater, som er lagret mellem 8 og 12 år i amerikanske bourbonfade i tropisk klima. Lagringen har givet en kompleks karakter med balanceret dybde og elegance.
Navnet ”Niña” er en hyldest af en af de berømte og smukke karaveller, der ledsagede Christopher Columbus på hans opdagelsesekspeditioner. Niña var ét af de tre skibe, der blev brugt af Christopher Columbus til at krydse Atlanten i 1492. Niña hed oprindeligt Santa Clara, men dets kælenavn var Niña. De to andre skibe var Santa Maria og Pinta.
Cristobal Nina 8-12 Years har en duft af jordbær, blomster, frisk eg og creme brulée. Smagen er fyldig og sød med noter af myntechokolade og marshmallows samt vanilje i eftersmagen.
