Chairman's Reserve Original Rum
Chairman's Reserve Original Rum from St. Lucia Distillers is a blend of column-distilled rum and pot still-distilled rum with an average age of 5 years. The rum is matured in used American oak barrels from Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, and Buffalo Trace. Initially, the maturation takes place separately in the different barrels, but after blending, the rum gets an additional 6 months in the same barrel. Chairman's Reserve Original Rum has notes of honey, oak, banana, vanilla, raisins, tobacco, and spices. It can be enjoyed neat but is probably even better in cocktails like Mai Tai and Old Fashioned. 40% – 70cl.
