The highly respected and beautifully located Ben Nevis distillery in Fort William, Scotland, has produced many delightful whisky bottlings over the years, but this Ben Nevis 21-year-old whisky, distilled way back in 1990, is absolutely among the best in Ben Nevis's newer collection. After 13 years in refill hogshead casks, the whisky spent the last 8 years in ruby port bodega butt casks before the total of 825 bottles were bottled in September 2012. Of the 825 bottles, the first 200 were released in this exclusive gift box with a Decanter bottle and 2 beautiful Ben Nevis glasses. 59.8% ABV - 70 cl. PLEASE NOTE: the bottle price is a "click and collect" price, so please choose "own pick-up" if ordering online. If transportation is needed, this would be something to organise by yourself.

Ben Nevis
The Ben Nevis whisky distillery is located in the western part of the Highland region, at the foot of Great Britain's highest mountain (also called Ben Nevis), and the distillery was founded in 1825 by John MacDonald. In 1989, the Ben Nevis whisky distillery was acquired by Nikka from Japan, who also produce whisky. The very full-bodied whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks made of American oak and in sherry casks made of European oak.
