Which dark rum should I choose?

That is a very broad question with no simple answer. Tastes differ, and while some prefer a sweet taste, others like it sharper and more complex. Many use dark rum for cocktails such as Dark’n’Stormy, Cuba Libre, and Mai Tai. However, dark rum is often enjoyed neat, as it typically has a fuller, more mature, and often sweeter taste than light rum.

How do you start drinking dark rum?
