Stauning Høst Whisky, which combines the best of Danish rye and barley, aged in American oak casks with a hint of port wine barrels. This combination offers delicate finesse, softness, balance, and the characteristic Stauning character, resulting in an extraordinarily well-balanced whisky with broad appeal – both for enthusiasts and those beginning their journey into the world of whisky. 40.5% ABV.
Stauning Rye Whisky is made from both (floor)malted rye and malted barley. The whisky is distilled in traditional copper pot stills over old-fashioned open fires, which, together with the floor malting, gives a truly unique and complex flavor. It is also a "straight rye whisky" with no artificial color or flavor additives, and the casks have matured for 3-4 years. Stauning Rye Whisky has a distinct rye note, almost resembling a good Danish rye bread in liquid form. 48% ABV.
Stauning KAOS Whisky is Danish whisky from Stauning near Skjern on the Jutland heath. Stauning KAOS whisky is a blend of Peat, Rye, and Heather, and it is arguably the most versatile whisky from the Stauning distillery with complex notes of smoke, spices, and sweetness. Stauning KAOS Whisky is aged 3-5 years in 1st fill Maker's Mark bourbon casks and Virgin American Oak Heavy Char casks. In 2017, Jim Murray awarded the 2nd edition of this whisky 94.5 points in his Whisky Bible, with the words: "Just too ridiculously beautiful. So many questions… so many confusing but magnificently delicious answers". 47.1% ABV.
