Vin de la Solitude Châteauneuf du Pape red wine from Domaine de la Solitude is made from 8 different grape varieties according to a 19th-century recipe. The blend is: 30% Grenache, 22% Counoise, 22% Serine, 17% Mourvedre, 3% Clairette, 3% Bourbolenc, 2% Roussanne, and 1% Picpoul.
The hand-harvested grapes are first co-fermented in whole clusters in large vats, then macerated for 80 days, and finally, the red wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months.
The result is an incredibly intense, powerful, and harmonious grape symphony with many different fine nuances. Harmony, elegance, a true refinement with velvety tannins that just keep going. Region/Type: France, Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Vintage: 2024. Content: 75 cl - 14.5%.
