The Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from The Macallan. Whenever James Bond, also known as Agent 007, enjoyed a good whisky, it was always a fine glass of The Macallan.
The whisky was, of course, distilled in (2)007 and has matured for 18 years in both sherry casks and red wine casks made from European and American oak. This encompasses the entire James Bond universe, as he also enjoyed sherry and red wine.
When savouring this The Macallan 55th Anniversary Release Whisky, 55 years after the launch of the Diamonds Are Forever film, notes of oak, vanilla, and dried fruit are perceived. The taste offers notes of, among other things, vanilla, caramel, cocoa, truffle, coffee, dried fruit, berries, and apricot.
