SBS Panama 2012 Rum
SBS Panama 2012 is a single cask rum, based on molasses and distilled in a column still in 2012. The rum has matured in a Bourbon cask and was bottled at 55% alcohol strength in January 2024. The rum is not chill-filtered.
SBS Panama 2012 has a nuanced aroma, where refreshing mint, the sweetness of molasses, and subtle woody notes blend together. The first sip reveals a dry and tannic taste experience, accompanied by vanilla sweetness, a hint of white pepper, and a lingering finish of rich caramel. A taste experience of balanced complexity that satisfies the palate from start to finish.
SBS Panama 2012 is limited to only 282 bottles. Exclusively bottled for the Danish market. 55% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
