Rum Nation Rare Rums Port Mourant 12-year Sherry Finish rum was distilled in a Port Mourant wooden double pot still, which has given the rum a moderately estery character. The esters were further enhanced by 22 months of finishing in former Oloroso sherry casks. Rum Nation Rare Rums Port Mourant 12-year Sherry Finish rum has mild, fruity and sweet aromas of raisins and sherry-aged whisky, with an earthy hint from the cask. The rum has dry, vinous and tannic tasting notes with a hint of licorice, sandalwood and lavender. Limited release bottled in 2022 from casks no. 18 and 19, totaling 984 numbered bottles. 59% - 70 cl.

Rum Nation was founded by Italian Fabio Rossi, who released his first rum in 1999, and Rum Nation is a so-called "independent bottler," as is also the case with, for example, Planteray (formerly Plantation).
