Rum Nation Guatemala Gran Reserva Magnum is a molasses-based rum, fermented and distilled at the S.A. TULULA distillery. Once distilled in column stills, the rum is transported to the north-eastern part of Guatemala, 185 meters above sea level. Here, the rum is aged in white oak barrels that previously held American bourbon. This full-bodied rum now rests for 4 years in the Rio Hondo region, which provides a humid aging climate and thus allows the rum to accelerate its maturation, because Rio Hondo is almost a tropical climate zone in Guatemala. Rum Nation Guatemala Gran Reserva has classic rum notes from the Spanish rum style such as roasted nuts, honey, dark chocolate, and overripe banana. Here you get the rum in a 4.5-liter magnum bottle. 40% vol.
